DJ streams
Your own stream, for your own sets
DJ Live and DJ Radio are personal streams for one DJ or singer. You pay in Linden dollars at the Performer Terminal in the CueSwitch store and stream from the software you already use.
Two plans, three lengths
Every week costs the same whichever length you pick, so there is no discount for buying more weeks. Both plans are for one streamer.
DJ Live
A live-only stream. You go live, and a placeholder plays when you are off air.

Who it is for
One person, one stream.
DJs
You want a stream address of your own for your sets. BUTT, Mixxx, Traktor and VirtualDJ settings are in the DJ guide.
Singers
DJ Live is the same product for singers. Sing into a microphone with BUTT or Mixxx, with or without a backing track. The DJ guide has a section for it.
Event hosts
You host a show or an event and need a stream you control. Buy 1 week, or more if you need it.
How to buy
You pay at the Performer Terminal in the CueSwitch store, not at the club terminal.
Go to the CueSwitch store
The Performer Terminal is there. cueswitch.com/hq takes you to the store.
DJ Live and DJ Radio are not sold on the Home Terminal.
Pick a plan and a length
Touch the Performer Terminal, choose DJ Live or DJ Radio, then 1, 4 or 12 weeks, and pay the amount it shows.
The terminal’s Help button opens this page.
Open your web account
The terminal sends you an IM with a one-time link to your web account at cueswitch.com. There is no password.
Go live
Enter your stream login in your streaming software and connect. The DJ guide has the settings for BUTT, Mixxx, Traktor and VirtualDJ, and a section for singers.
To play at a club, give the club manager your stream address from your web account. They paste it into About Land, Sound, Music URL.
What you get
A personal stream
Shoutcast/Icecast-compatible, 320 kbps, up to 100 listeners.
One streamer login
Yours, as the buyer. You stream with the software you already use.
Your stream address
It is in your web account. Give it to a club manager and they paste it into About Land, Sound, Music URL.
A web account
At cueswitch.com. Your stream login is there.
No tip jar
The DJ Tip Jar is no longer included with DJ Live or DJ Radio. If you already got it, you keep it.
DJ Live is live only
No uploads. A placeholder plays when you are off air.
DJ Radio adds
Uploads and AutoDJ: every upload goes into one AutoDJ list that plays shuffled when nobody is live. Up to 5 GB of music.
Upgrading
DJ Live to DJ Radio
You can upgrade at any time by paying a DJ Radio price at the Performer Terminal.
The time you have left on DJ Live is converted by its L$ value, so it becomes half as many days of DJ Radio. The DJ Radio weeks you buy are added to it.
A DJ Live payment on a DJ Radio stream is refused and refunded at once.
To a club
Paid time can also be moved to a club venue by its L$ value. Use Move paid time in the owner dashboard. Clubs are a different plan, with their own prices on the pricing page.
If you stop paying
Nothing renews by itself. To keep your stream, pay again at the Performer Terminal before your time runs out.
- At expiry
A 3-day grace period starts, the same as for a club.
- End of grace
If payment has not arrived, the stream is suspended.
- 7 days after the pause
Your station and your data are deleted. Pay before then and the stream comes back. A club keeps its data for 30 days; DJ Live and DJ Radio keep theirs for 7.
The fine print
Tips are yours
If you already have a DJ Tip Jar, you keep every tip paid into it. CueSwitch does not charge for tips.
Music licensing
Music licensing for what you stream is your responsibility.
Read the terms and the refund policy before you pay.
